After creating origami as a child, I put the art of paper folding aside until I was in medical school at NYU. As a means of relaxation while studying for my medical boards, I began creating origami pieces again. After giving them as gifts to friends and receiving strong response, I began to get custom orders from word of mouth connections. It has just grown from there.
I have recently begun to design my own models, however most of the pieces that I have for sale are designed by Robert Lang, John Montrol, and Mark Kirschenbaum, all geniuses in my mind.
I hope that you enjoy the site and my work. Feel free in inquire about pricing of pieces or any type work I may create for you at capturedorigami@gmail.com
Originally from Redding, CT, I attended Brown University for undergrad and NYU for Medical School. I am currently beginning my Ophthalmology medical residency at UCSF in San Francisco.
After nine wonderful years on the east coast, I now live in California with my wife Caroline. I also have two very bad dogs named Ziggy & Sugar who love to eat origami.
